The mandate and philosophy of the Centre is based on a feminist perspective; the objective being to provide all women with the skills and knowledge necessary to find personalized solutions to their particular problems. The Centre also aims to provide support through offering a trusting, non-threatening environment that reflects and respects each woman's expressed needs.

Our mission is to provide information, referral and support services to all women. We are dedicated to serving the needs of women in our community and are committed to creating a safe space that is inclusive and respectful of diversity. The centre offers:

• free legal clinics (private consultation with a lawyer)

• clothing depot and household items
• drop in/social space
• meeting place for support groups
• S.O.S program

• training program for students and

• childcare and travel assistance (may be provided)
